Playing Ace King (Big Slick) can be a major headache out of postion.
The good news is you`ve got Ace King! The bad news is that you`re out of position and two times out of three you`ll have missing the flop and be left holding Ace high! When you do hit you always have at least top pair top kicker and unless the board gets scary you often bet three streets for value. But when you miss you have some decisions to make. You can often c.bet as it`s unlikely the opposition has been helped by the flop either. Don`t do this an autopilot if the board is very wet or if you`re in a multi-way pot. If you`re called and you also miss the turn you will often have to give up the hand. If the turn brings a card thats looks scary to your opponent or if you think they`re floating a high percentage of the time you should often fire a second barrel. Remember when doing the with Ace King it`s really a semi-bluff as you`ll often have outs on the river.
